Natural Gas is measured in MMBtu (Million British Thermal Units), Gold is per troy ounce, and for Nickel the price reflects price per share of (NIKL) ETF. They are all indexed to be at 100 at the start of the period.

 

For the week of January 26th – 30th  Natural Gas (Green) showed the largest movement, it started the week increasing reaching a high of 41.4% above the baseline. It then began to drop, falling below the baseline. While there was a slight increase, it remained at ~ 17.4% below the line. Brent Oil (Black) gradually increased during the week, ending at 7.3% above the baseline. Gold (Yellow) followed a similar trend for the majority of the week however it dropped below the baseline ending off the week at ~ 5.3% below the line. Nickel (Red) steadily increased for the first half of the week but began to fall below the baseline and continued to drop for the remainder of the week. Nickel (Red) ended the week at ~11.2% below the baseline.

Natural Gas (Green) dropped below the upper bound alone with falling below the baseline. It fell to a price of $4.35 /MMBtu to finish off the month. Brent Oil (Black) continued to rise above the upper bound for this week, reaching a price of $70.69/Barrel to end the month. Nickel (Red) and Gold (Yellow) followed a similar trend this week both remain above the upper bound, however having significant drops. Nickel (Red) ended the week at $18.02/share. Gold (Yellow) ended the week at $4713.90/Troy oz.
